PSP PSX PS1 PS2 Games Library

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 3 November 2026

PSP PSX PS1 PS2 Games Library is built to work without knowing who you are. There is no account, no sign-in, and no profile. This policy describes what the app stores on your device, what it sends over the network, and what third parties are involved — nothing more.

1. No account, no identity

The app does not ask for your name, email address, phone number or password, and it creates no user account. It has no identity to attach to your activity, and nothing you do in the app is tied to a person — only to the device it runs on.

2. What stays on your device

Everything the app remembers lives on your phone:

  • Catalog data — game listings and search indexes, stored in an on-device database so browsing and searching work fast.
  • Your library — your favorites and your download history, including download status and file locations.
  • Settings — your preferences, such as concurrent downloads, Wi-Fi-only mode, auto-retry, download location and grid or list view.
  • Downloaded files — finished games, saved to All PS Library on your device storage, or a folder you choose. They stay there until you delete them, even if you uninstall the app.

Clearing the app's data or uninstalling it removes the catalog, library and settings from the device. Files you downloaded to your own folders stay until you delete them.

3. Permissions the app uses

  • Storage — to save downloaded game files to the folders above. The app asks for this when you start your first download, not before.
  • Notifications — to show download progress and completion in your notification shade, with pause and cancel actions.

4. Advertising

The app shows ads from Google AdMob: banner, interstitial, native and rewarded placements. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data to serve and measure ads, under Google's own privacy policy. Watching a rewarded ad unlocks the faster CDN download link for that download. There are no paid tiers.

5. Analytics and crash reporting

The app includes Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics. When active, they collect anonymous usage events (such as screens viewed and downloads started) and crash reports to help fix bugs. They are only active once the app is registered with Firebase; no personal identity is attached to these reports.

6. Network requests

The app contacts its catalog servers to fetch game listings, covers and screenshots, and contacts the download mirrors you choose when you start a download. These requests carry no account or identity information — the servers see an ordinary app download request from your device.

7. Emulators and external apps

The app does not include an emulator. When you open a downloaded game, it hands the file to an emulator app you installed separately (such as DuckStation, ePSXe, AetherSX2 or PPSSPP). What those apps do with the file is governed by their own policies, not this one.

8. Rating prompts

The app may occasionally ask you to rate it on Google Play — once via its own dialog after your first download makes progress, and occasionally via Google Play's own review prompt. Both are optional and can be dismissed.

9. Children

The app is not directed at children under 13, and it collects no personal information from anyone, child or adult.

10. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new “last updated” date.
